USD 506 District Demographics:
Labette County U.S.D. 506 encompasses 500 square miles of Labette County. The district has approximately 1,715 students enrolled in a K-12 system which is housed in five elementary schools and one four-year high school. Labette County High School is a comprehensive high school with several state approved vocational programs.
Our changing society and workplace demand citizens who can take responsibility for their own learning and well-being. Educational reforms which can develop these citizens are dependent on the adequate and appropriate infusion of technology to support the "new education system."
